When the owners of a log home in Marlboro Township reached out, they were starting with a blank slate surrounded by woods. They wanted the property to feel natural and welcoming while still reflecting the rustic character of their home. After walking the site together, they gave our team full creative freedom to design a space that captured the look and feel they imagined.
We used natural materials that complemented the log exterior and began shaping the property around a new circular driveway. The exposed aggregate surface added texture and charm, while a custom fountain with native plantings became a striking centerpiece. To manage runoff, we incorporated a dry creek bed that handles heavy rains while blending into the setting.
A heated paver driveway adds comfort and convenience during the colder months, and a built-in fire pit creates a warm gathering place that completes the outdoor experience. The finished space balances beauty and purpose, creating a one-of-a-kind landscape that fits the home perfectly.
